We can create your unique jewellery, we can additionally use you existing jewellery to create a totally different look, maybe a ring into a pendent, or a neck chain into a bracelet. We can also melt your existing gold to create something new.

Repairs

From our workshops on the premise we carry out all aspects of jewellery repair and alterations, from a simple chain repair or a ring size alteration, to a complete restoration of a piece of jewellery simply worn by the passing of time.

You will be given an estimate before the works starts which will be accurate and will not be exceeded.

We offer an express same day service for many of our repairs and alterations, so you can drop off and pick up after your shopping is done.

If you have lost gem stones from a piece of jewellery, we can supply and reset to a perfect match and help with any insurance claims that you may be able to make, supplying any written quotations that your insurance company requires.  

Additionally any jewellery that you may have that is beyond repair, or is simply not worn anymore can be melted down to create a new and stunning piece of jewellery at a fraction of the cost of buying anew.

Postal Repair

If you are not local we offer a service where you can post your jewellery to us by way of Royal mail registered post, on receipt we will inspect and contact you by your preferred means, with cost and time to completion. Once work is completed we will register post it back and payment can be done by means of credit card.

Valuations

Valuations for insurance purposes are carried out by our skilled team. One of the members of this team is Robert Robins who is an approved I.G.I Diamond and gem stone grader. Robert has had extensive training in Antwerp, which is regarded as the diamond capital of the world, at I.G.I head quarters.

 I.G.I is the International Gemological Institute who’s authority is world recognised.

Although valuing can be full of complicated jargon, we promise to speak to you in plain English. All weights, carats, sizes etc. will be recorded accurately and photographed if required.

We deal with all the major insurance companies / brokerages and we are agents for T.H.March, who are specialists in the field of jewellery insurance.

If it is just advice you need and a rough value of an article we can do this on the spot in our store free of charge, although this is just a rough guide to the value.

Costs

We do not charge a percentage of the value as valuing this way will cause prices to escalate, so we prefer to give you a fixed fee before we start.

Whilst your jewellery is being valued we will give each individual piece a safety inspection and report on any work that may be necessary to ensure that it is in good condition and will last many years to come.
